Commercial debts in the UAE are governed primarily by the Commercial Transactions Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 50 of 2022), with a general ten-year limitation period. Enforcement runs through Dubai Courts, the DIFC Courts (for parties opting into DIFC jurisdiction), ADGM Courts in Abu Dhabi, or the onshore Abu Dhabi Judicial Department. Common remedies include payment orders, garnishment of bank accounts, precautionary attachment and — for absconding debtors — travel bans registered with the Ministry of Interior.

We work on no-win / no-fee for most placements. Commission typically ranges from 10% to 25% of the amount recovered, depending on age, size and complexity. Legal filing costs are agreed upfront.
